Specialization
Erwin specializes in (international) commercial contract law. In addition, his practice consists of advising and litigating in the field of intellectual property law and he deals with issues at the intersection of technology and law, including e-commerce, contracts for cloud solutions, regulation for (social media) platforms, IT disputes and the legal implications of new technologies.

Background
Erwin studied Dutch law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed the postgraduate specialization courses in National and International Contracting at the Grotius Academy and the Intellectual Property Law course at the VU Law Academy Amsterdam. Before joining Yur, he worked as general counsel at the Dutch branch of the world’s market leader in industrial and medical gases and gained experience within the Big 4.
